Instead, it aims to become a destination in itself, on a 14-acre oceanfront site anchored by a 100-foot pool that’s perched on a 25-foot cliff. Refreshingly, rather than importing an architect from overseas, the project has been overseen by Coast, the top firm in the TCIs. Service should be exceptional from the outset, as it’s rumored the hotel poached several top staffers from the nearby Como Parrot Cay, the country’s current top choice. “The Caribbean doesn’t have many destination hotels, but this could be one of them,” says Scott Dunn Private’s Maury.
